The man accused of killing one person and stabbing four others on the Apple River is supposed to take the stand at his murder trial today.
Yesterday saw more testimony in Nicolae Miu’s case. His lawyers tried to say he was acting in self defense when he started stabbing and slashing at people after a fight in the river in 2022. A 17-year-old died in that fight. Miu’s friend says he was a calm person, and was in shock after the stabbing. Miu is expected to answer questions on the stand today. The jury is expected to get the case not long after that.
