Two Minnesota police officers and a paramedic were shot and killed while responding to a domestic abuse call early Sunday. Burnsville Police Chief Tanya Schwartz expressed her sorrow:
Law enforcement sources say the suspected gunman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police say the suspect had several guns and opened fire from multiple points in the home about 15 miles south of Minneapolis.
There were seven children inside the house at the time. All were reported safe.
