It was the end of an era on the UW-Eau Claire campus Saturday night.
UW-Eau Claire beat La Crosse to win the final men’s basketball game at Zorn Arena. The university will play its games at the Sonnentag Event Center next season. Zorn has been open since 1952, and has seen many Blugold games over the years. One more piece of the ending of the era, player Nolan Blair hit the final three pointer at Zorn Saturday night. His dad, Mike, is credited with hitting the first ever three-pointer at Zorn.
