There is a new plan at the Wisconsin Capitol that would automatically audit elections in the state.
State Representative Scott Allen has legislation that would have the Legislative Audit Bureau randomly select one city and one village from four different counties in the state, and fully investigate the election there. Allen says it’s a better solution than waiting for a problem to pop-up, and then order an audit. Allen says after the 2020 election, voters in Wisconsin need to know that they can trust the electoral process in the state.
