In the Big Ten, Wisconsin pulled off an 18-point fourth-quarter comeback to stun Illinois on the road.
The Badgers bounced from last week’s loss to Iowa and improved to five-and-two overall. Head coach Luke Fickell praised quarterback Braedyn Locke, who led the team to a 25-21 victory despite being down two touchdowns entering the fourth. It was Locke’s first start since senior Q-B Tanner Mordecai was sidelined with a broken throwing hand. Fond du Lac native Braelon Allen ran for 145 yards with a touchdown. The Badgers are back home next week to host the undefeated number-three Ohio State Buckeyes.
