Investigators say a Whitewater man beat and strangled a woman, and held her against her will for days.
Police said they arrested 18-year-old Yefferson Guzman-Rodriguez yesterday morning after a days long investigation. Whitewater’s police chief says they got a call that Guzman-Rodriguez was holding a woman in his home. Officers say the woman told them Guzman-Rodriguez held a gun to her head, and at one point choked her unconscious. Guzman-Rodriguez is now looking at tentative charges for kidnapping, false imprisonment, recklessly endangering safety, battery.
