Wisconsin attorney general is joining the national call to have state and local government websites be more accessible to the disabled.
Josh Kaul joined 10 other attorneys general yesterday in asking the Department of Justice to push states, cities, counties, and other local governments to include things like descriptive captions for photos, more vibrant colors, and larger font sizes on their websites. Kaul said everyone should be able to access a government website, and right now some aren’t made for all people. The AGs in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Rhode Island are asking the same thing.
