There will be beer but not fried food at the Estabrook Park Beer Garden.
Milwaukee County’s Sheriff’s Office says somebody stole thousands of dollars worth of kitchen equipment meant for the Oktoberfest celebration. Investigators say the theft happened Tuesday night, they took two friars and a freezer. Beer garden organizers say they will remain open, though they’ll have to deal with some changes because of the thefts. There’s no video of the theft, deputies say whoever hit the beer garden knew what they were doing.
