The owner of the pickup truck hit by lightning in Slinger will have a story to tell!
The Slinger Fire Department says a bolt of lightning struck Chad Baumgartner’s truck about 8 a.m. yesterday morning as a round of storms was moving through. Baumgartner says the lightning melted his dash and blew a hole in his windshield. He says the truck is likely a total loss, but said he’s more amazed at what happened than he is angry.
