The suspect in March’s murder in an Ashwaubenon apartment complex is being held on a million-dollars bond.
A judge yesterday ordered Prez Wade held on a seven-figure bond for the shooting death of his best friend, 23-year-old Braxton Phillips. Prosecutors say Wade told police he was drunk when he accidentally shot Phillips, but investigators say Wade tried to hide his involvement in the crime, and got help from his child’s mother, who was in a relationship with Phillips at the time. Prosecutors say Wade and Phillips were arguing over the woman before the shooting. She’s also facing charges in the case. Wade is due in court next week.
