City leaders in Altoona are ready to add lofts at River Prairie Park.
The city council last week okayed the The Candy Lofts building project to go into the empty lot north of Cabin Coffee Company. There will be five loft apartments, as well as space for two shops on the ground floor. Planners say it’s been a decade in the making, and are excited for the change it will bring to the park area.
