A 21-year-old Madison man is on his way to federal prison for trafficking fentanyl.
Roland Scott the Third was sentenced to eight years in prison Thursday for possessing with intent to distribute more than 40 grams or more of fentanyl and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Scott pleaded guilty in February to selling heroin and fentanyl to an undercover officer in 2021.
