Searchers from both Michigan and Wisconsin spent their Sunday looking for a missing eight-year-old boy in the woods of the UP.
The boy’s mother, Jessica Buerger, told authorities he disappeared Saturday afternoon in the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in the western UP. The boy is from Hurley, Wisconsin, and folks there have said they are ready to join the search if asked.
