A Brooklyn man accused of threatening people during a dispute over a tree is taking a plea deal in the case.
Paul Douglas had a preliminary hearing yesterday and pleaded no contest to making terroristic threats using a dangerous weapon. Douglas will serve two years on probation and complete counseling. He’s accused of threatening to shoot someone because he thought they were going to cut down a tree on his property.
This all happened on election day and forced the polling place in Brooklyn to be moved to a different location.
