The Tomah School Board is considering banning displays of the Confederate flag. Madison-dot-com says the board spent time during its meeting Monday looking at whether to join the rest of the Mississippi Valley Conference in banning displays of the flag.
Tomah High School principal Robert Joyce says displays of the flag have triggered disruptions at the school. Joyce says no other school in the Mississippi Valley allows the display of Confederate flag.
