The body of a missing UW-Stevens Point student has been recovered.
Rescuers pulled 20-year-old Cole Peterson’s body out of the Wisconsin River Saturday afternoon. He went missing about 2 a.m. Saturday. Crews used a drone to find him, then used an ice boat to grab his body. Police in Stevens Point say there’s no reason to suspect foul play in his death.
