The Wisconsin governor’s race in 2022 involved record spending.
That’s according to the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign, which says a combined 164-million dollars were spent on Governor Tony Evers’ and challenger Tim Michels’ campaigns. That’s a record for a governor election in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Democracy Campaign says the previous record was 93-million, set in 2018.
