An Eau Claire man is accused of making a bomb threat towards a local hospital. According to a criminal complaint, Joseph Walters posted on Facebook on January 10th that he would make the news by blowing up a hospital. Walters was a patient at HSHS Sacred Heart earlier that day and a tip led investigators to his location.
He’s charged with counts of making terrorist threats and a bomb scare.
