Waukesha’s moment of silence to remember the victims of last year’s Christmas Parade had everything you’d expect, a huge crowd, tears, and a push to continue to move forward.
Hundreds of people crowded into Cutler Park yesterday afternoon to mark the one-year anniversary of the Christmas Parade massacre that left six people dead and more than 60 others injured. Local leaders spoke, including Governor Evers and Waukesha’s mayor. Mayor Shawn Reilly told the crowd Waukesha showed how strong it is by responding ‘with bravery, love, compassion and unity.’
