Governor Tony Evers is ordering flags on all public buildings in Wisconsin to fly at half-staff Monday to pay respect to the six people killed in last year’s Waukesha Christmas Parade.
Waukesha has scheduled a public ceremony to mark the one-year anniversary of the tragedy. Last Wednesday, the man convicted of the murders was sentenced to six consecutive life terms and more than 700 years in prison for driving his SUV into the parade. The Waukesha Christmas Parade will return on Sunday December 4th, one week from tomorrow.
