Focus Shifts To Memorial Planning in Waukesha

The trial is over, now it’s time to focus on the Waukesha Christmas Parade memorial.

Planners in Waukesha are now looking to raise the money to build the city’s Parade Memorial. Memorial Commission boss Gerald Couri yesterday said they need one-and-a-half million-dollars to build a permanent memorial to the six people who were killed and 60 others who were injured in the attack on the parade last year. The design features six hearts, sculptures, and plenty of green space. The Commission hopes to build the memorial before the two-year anniversary of the attack next year.
