Somebody in Sheboygan County is Wisconsin’s first person to get West Nile this year.
The state’s Department of Health Services confirmed the case yesterday. There have been a handful of West Nile cases in animals across the state this year, but this is the first human case. This is the time of year when West Nile typically peaks in people, as more people are out at dusk and dawn.
