A Wisconsin man is dead after police say he hit a bear while riding his motorcycle in western Montana.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the 66-year-old man from Fond du Lac hit the bear Sunday morning south of the town of Swan Lake. Troopers say the man wasn’t wearing a helmet, and died at the scene. Game wardens tracked the injured bear down and put it down.
