There is more to that suspicious fire in Chippewa Falls.
Police yesterday announced the arrest of 58-year-old Scott Vaningan for Wednesday’s fire at a home just north of downtown Chippewa Falls. Police are not identifying the victim in the case, or saying how they died. Police do say Vannigan knew the victim. Firefighters called the fire suspicious from the get-go. The cause of that fire remains under investigation.
