Christopher Michael Karpowicz, 41 years of age, from Rice Lake, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped to check on a disabled motorist on County Road D. A subsequent investigation was conducted on the driver of the vehicle. The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (drugged driving) 5th offense, operating a motor
vehicle after revocation and on a Barron County Warrant. The driver was transported to a local
hospital for an evidentiary test of his blood and then to the Washburn County Jail.
