The inaugural event in 2021 saw hundreds of people come out for family fun activities, food, entertainment, and an ice cream eating contest! This year the event will be even more significant and with MORE impact on local non-profits.
In honor of Ramone’s Fifth Anniversary, and in keeping with our commitment to giving back to the community, we are committing a total of $50,000 to 5 local nonprofits over the next five years. Those organizations are Power of Perception, The Community Table, Eau Claire County Humane Association, The Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley.
Ice Cream Fest will kick off with these organizations providing family-friendly activities, including face painting (by “Paint me First”), Kevin’s Juggling & Balloons, mini putt, bouncy houses, free food, and an ice cream eating contest. Also, Power of Perception Mentoring Program, founded by Dennis Beale, will be on-site with their “Self Care with a Diverse Twist” program offering haircuts, hair braiding, free food, and more as part of the day’s festivities.
The team at Ramone’s has been committed to giving back to our community since opening our doors in 2017. Their “Cash for a Cause” program empowers the team at Ramone’s to give back. On a rotating basis, each week, a featured team member selects a charity of their choice and donates collective tips earned by the team and pays them forward to charities throughout the year. To date, our team has donated over $150,000 through Cash for a Cause and in-kind donations!
