Planned Parenthood of Illinois and Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin are joining to help women in Wisconsin continue to get abortions.
The two chapters announced their partnership yesterday. Tanya Atkinson with Planned Parenthood Wisconsin says Wisconsin women can travel to Illinois to get the services they want. Illinois’ governor has said he wants to make the state an oasis for women seeking abortions in the Midwest. There are already plans for clinics in Rockford and Waukegan in Illinois to serve women from Wisconsin.
