The County T bridge project has finished ahead of schedule.
Wisconsin D-O-T Secretary Craig Thompson and Barron County officials celebrated the completion of the bridge, which began in early April of this year. An entirely new bridge is now located north of U.S. Highway 8 near Barron. The original bridge over the Vermillion River was built in 1965 and had been nearing the end of its usefulness.
