Eau Claire County’s former D.A. could lose his law license for a few months because of his behavior on the job.
The Office of Lawyer Regulation is asking the Wisconsin Supreme Court to suspend Gary King’s license for at least nine months. The request comes after a report into King’s behavior while working as D.A. A number of staffers said he sexually harassed a woman in his office, and often appeared drunk on the job. King resigned in July of last year, just steps ahead of an investigation from Governor Evers’ office.
He’s denied the claims against him.
