A teen in England, who hunts for treasure with his dad by magnet fishing, found a small safe at the bottom of a river last month, and that was surprise enough. But, once they “gutted” the safe they were met with another surprise . . . it had about $2,000 in it.
From there, instead of keeping the money, they went looking for the owner. It turned out the safe was stolen from a business 22 years ago. So they gave it back to the guy, along with all the money they found. And he returned the favor by giving the kid a reward, plus a JOB offer after he’s done with school.
Cracking the code on a friendship and managing to keep a pretty good story in the live well for years to come!
