The judge overseeing the trial of the Waukesha Christmas Parade suspect doesn’t want to wait.
The judge yesterday refused to delay the trial, which continues to be set for October. The judge has not yet decided if the trial will remain in Waukesha County. Darrell Brooks Junior’s lawyers say there is no way he can get a fair trial in Waukesha. A hearing on that issue comes up in June. Brooks is looking at a laundry list of charges, including several counts of homicide.
Police say he killed six people and injured over 60 others when he sped through the parade last November.
