Businesses in Wisconsin want some state help in getting people to live, and work in the state.
The latest edition of the Employer Survey from Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce shows that 80 percent of businesses in Wisconsin want the state to launch a worker recruitment and retention program. WMC’s Kurt Bauer says Wisconsin has faced a worker shortage for years, he’d like to see the state find a way to market Wisconsin as a place to live and work.
