Dairyland Power Cooperative is looking into nuclear options.

NuScale Power has developed a new nuclear power plant they say is safer, smaller, and scalable. Dairyland serves 24 distribution cooperatives and 17 city utilities for more than a half-million people in a four-state area, including much of Western and Northwestern Wisconsin, as well as small areas in Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois.
