A crash results in injuries in Jackson County.
It was at 2:38 AM on Tuesday March 01, 2022 when a crash occurred on I-94 WB at Interstate 97 Westbound at Mile 97 in JACKSON County near HIXTON.
Assisting agencies included Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, Osseo Police Department, Hixton Fire/Rescue, Black River Falls Fire/Rescue, Gold Cross Ambulance, and Mayo Helicopter .
A commercial motor vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 94 near mile marker 97, lost control and overturned across both lanes. After the initial crash, a westbound SUV approaching the scene struck the overturned commercial motor vehicle. All three occupants were transported from the scene to local hospitals via helicopter for serious injuries.
Both westbound lanes of Interstate 94 were closed as a result of the crash and a traffic reroute was
activated. The westbound lanes were cleared and reopened at 6:16am
