An 8th OWI was picked up by a Black River Falls man.
John Lindsey Whitewater, 55 years of age, from Black River Falls has been arrested by the
Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 8th
offense.
On February 26, 2022, at approximately 9:18pm, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper conducted a
traffic stop on the Interstate 94 exit ramp at milepost 115 for an equipment violation. A subsequent
investigation was conducted on the driver of the vehicle. The driver was arrested for operating a
motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant 8th offence. The driver was transported to a
local hospital for an evidentiary test of his blood and then to the Jackson County Jail.
