Authorities in La Crosse know the name of the young man pulled out of the Black River on Wednesday, but they are not saying how he ended-up in the water.
Police say they followed a line of footprints out to the edge of the ice on the river, that’s where they found 27-year-old Dayton Anderson-Teece’s body in the river. No one is saying why he was on the ice, or just what happened. La Crosse Police say the case remains under investigation.
