A University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire student faces charges in a case of thousands of dollars in damages from vandalism on campus.
You may have seen this story flipping through the paper. The Leader-Telegram reported yesterday that 21-year old Zachary Cunningham was charged Thursday with criminal property damage and burglary after he allegedly trashed a dorm building’s basement in early February.
Doors, furnishings, wiring in the ceiling and electronic equipment were pulled from their fixtures in what Cunningham told police was the result of a night of drinking when his “thinking skills were not ideal.”
