Polar Plunge Makes a Splash in WI

Polar Plunge Makes a Splash in WI

Hundreds in Madison participate in the Polar Plunge to raise money for the Special Olympics.

The event yesterday at Lake Monona saw more than six-hundred-hardy bathing suit clad people jump into the freezing waters for a charitable cause.  The goal is to raise two-hundred-50-thousand dollars to support Special Olympics athletes across the state.

Looking to make the plunge? There’s still time to take part in one of four more upcoming dates for the chilly fund raising activity in Green Bay, Milwaukee, Eau Claire and La Crosse respectively.
