Folks in Eau Claire will be able to catch-up on some reading while waiting for their socks to dry. The L.E. Phillips Library this week announced plans for what are being called laundromat libraries.
The idea is to bring books, particularly for kids, to where people are. The Library’s Jerissa Koenig says the hope is that families will read together. The Pinehurst Laundromat on North Hastings is one of the first laundromats to join the new partnership.
