Add the Eau Claire County Humane Association to the list of animal shelters taking part in the Betty White Challenge.
White, who died at the beginning of the month, loved animals and supported several animal causes during her long life. To honor her, shelters across the country are asking people to donate five dollars to their local animal shelter before what would have been her 100th birthday next Monday.
Karen Rabideaux with the Eau Claire County Humane Association says after another tough year of the pandemic, the donations are badly needed and will be most welcome.
