We are waiting on a ‘why’ in an arson fire at a Milwaukee apartment building.
Everyone made it out of Sunday’s fire at the building not far from Marquette’s campus. A 19-year-old suspect is in custody. Yesterday, the Red Cross said most of the 140 people who live in the apartment complex have found a place to stay temporarily. Volunteers say about 20 people remain without a place to stay. Firefighters say the fire was contained to just one apartment, but there is smoke and water damage in many of the other apartments. There is also no power.
