Yep, you’re waking up to snow. It’s winter time in Wisconsin!

Just like that, the white stuff is back on the ground and we are all refreshing our winter weather skills. Overall, WEAU SkyWarn 13 meteorologist Derrek Dalman says snow will persist into the early morning hours before tapering around daybreak Saturday. Winds will be breezy from the north-northwest at 10-15 mph

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for some areas into the early part of today. As long as we have snow on the ground, how about a story to “light up” the spirit of the season as well?

A rural New York family is making it into the Guinness Book of World Records again for most lights on a residential property.   Sara Lee Kessler reports.
