A fire causes about $150,000 in damage.
On Saturday December 11, 2021 the Eau Claire Fire Department responded to 3436 McIvor St for a report of a structure fire at the BTI McIvor House Group Home. Medic 5 was clearing from another call and was first to arrive on location. They reported the attached garage was fully involved and fire was spreading to the remainder of the structure.
The Eau Claire Communications Center reported all occupants were out of the structure. The 1st alarm assignment quickly knocked the fire down while crews simultaneously searched the structures for occupants. All searches were reported as negative and the fire was brought under control.
No injuries were reported. The fire remains under investigation.
