There’s a manhunt underway for an escaped convict who bolted from Milwaukee’s airport earlier this week.
The sheriff says they got a call from a private security company after Robert Johnson, Jr. made a break for it while being transferred to Texas. It happened Tuesday night. Investigators say Johnson doesn’t have any ties to Milwaukee, though he is from Rockford. The sheriff’s office says Johnson should be considered dangerous. They want anyone who sees him to call 911.
