Kyle Rittenhouse repeatedly told the jury in his case that he didn’t want to kill anyone.
Rittenhouse says one of the victims, Joseph Rosenbaum, threatened to kill him so he shot him while he grabbed for his gun.
Rittenhouse testified in his trial yesterday, recalling that violent night in August of 2020. Prosecutors grilled Rittenhouse, who said he feared for his life and only fired after being attacked.
In addition to Rittenhouse’s emotional testimony, the judge in the case became upset a couple of times as well. Judge Bruce Schroeder barked at prosecutors for stepping over the line during their cross-examination.
Judge Bruce Schroeder and Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger can be heard in the link below:
Rittenhouse’s lawyers asked for a mistrial because of it. The judge didn’t issue a ruling on that yesterday.
