The Kyle Rittenhouse murder trial is adjourned after a blockbuster day of testimony, including the defense asking for a mistrial.
Earlier, the judge yelled at the prosecution for alluding to a cellphone video of Rittenhouse taken well before the shooting that was ruled not to be allowed in court. The judge said he would take it under advisement. Rittenhouse is back on the stand being grilled by the prosecution.
The 18-year-old is accused of opening fire on protesters during civil unrest last year over a police shooting, killing two men.The prosecution is repeatedly asking Kyle Rittenhouse if he thought he expected to be in danger during the deadly protest. Rittenhouse says one of the victims, Joseph Rosenbaum, threatened to kill him so he shot him while he grabbed for his gun.
