There’s a warning about CWD in deer in Eau Claire County.
The state’s Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection this week said it confirmed a case in a deer taken from a local hunting ranch. In all 15 deer at the ranch have been placed into quarantine, as have deer at the farm in Waukesha County that raised them. Wisconsin is trying to keep CWD from spreading to its wild deer population.
