Thousands of Afghan refugees get a helping hand from a Madison non profit.
Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is collecting items for the refugees. The organization’s 13-locations are taking in donated items. Goodwill’s Janet DesChenes says everyone who wants to help now can do so more easily without having to make the drive over to Fort McCoy themselves.
Donated clothing and other necessities for the refugees should be new, not used.
