The UW Extension of Eau Claire County says corn and soybean production are on track for the year.
The agricultural educator for Eau Claire says Chippewa Valley had inconsistent and frequent dry spells at the start of the summer so they were worried about production. They say regardless of the dry spells, rain came at just the right time. They anticipate corn and soybean harvest to wrap up in November.
