Dane County officials are reporting a massive grant that will go toward expanding bike trails across the area.
County Executive Joe Parisi announced Wednesday a combined 770-thousand dollars in grants and other awards for the project. The grant program provided a matching grant for communities who brought ideas to the table for expanding bike trails, adding bike parks, and improving bike safety. The hundreds of thousands of dollars will now be split between five different projects across the county that will all interconnect through the trails.
